MMP-11在食管鳞状细胞癌组织中的表达水平及临床意义分析

摘    要:
目的:探讨基质金属蛋白酶-11(MMP-11)表达水平,及其与食管鳞状细胞癌(ESCC)的关系。方法采用免疫组织化学法检测36例ESCC 癌组织及其癌旁组织标本,以及9例正常食管组织MMP-11表达水平。结果 ESCC 癌组织、癌旁组织及正常食管组织MMP-11蛋白阳性表达率分别为69.4%(25/36)、25.0%(9/36)、22.2%(2/9)。癌旁组织和正常食管组织MMP-11蛋白阳性表达率低于癌组织( P <0.05),癌旁组织和正常食管组织 MMP-11蛋白阳性表达率比较差异无统计学意义( P >0.05)。就MMP-11阳性表达率而言,Ⅰ~Ⅱ期患者低于Ⅲ~Ⅳ期患者、T1~ T2期患者低于T3~ T4期患者、无淋巴转移的患者低于有淋巴转移的患者(P <0.05)。MMP-11表达水平与患者年龄、性别和肿瘤位置、直径、病理类型无关(P>0.05)。结论 MMP-11蛋白可能参与了ESCC 的发生、发展,MMP-11蛋白高表达可能是促进ESCC 浸润转移的因素之一。

Expression and clinical significance of MMP-11 protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Abstract:
Objective To explore the correlation between matrix metalloproteinases-11(MMP-11) and esopha-geal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) .Methods Expression of MMP-11 protein was detected by immunohistochem-istry in 36 cases of ESCC tissues and tumor-adjacent tissues ,and 9 cases of normal esophageal tissues .Results Posi-tive expression rate of MMP-11 in ESCC tissues was higher than tumor-adjacent tissues and normal tissues ,which were 69 .4% (25/36) ,25 .0% (9/36) and 22 .2% (2/9) respectively(P〈0 .05) .Positive expression rates of MMP-11 protein in patients at T1 -T2 stage ,Ⅰ - Ⅱ stage and with nodal metastases were lower than patients at T3 -T4 stage ,Ⅲ - Ⅳ stage and without nodal metastases respectively (P〈0 .05) .No correlations were found between MMP-11 protein expression levels and age ,gender ,tumor location ,tumor diameter and degree of differentiation(P〉0 .05) . Conclusion Up-regulation of MMP-11 expression level might be involved in the development of ESCC ,which might play a promoting role in the invasion and metastasis of ESCC .
