Combined intravenous and local anesthesia in anorectal surgery

Summary A technic for administration of intravenous and local anesthesia in anorectal surgery is presented. There are few contraindications to this type of anesthesia. One thousand patients who have undergone surgery with this technic have had no surgical complications.
