Abstract: | ![]() Candidiasis in a breastfeeding mother and infant is described. The mother's breasts were a continuous source of Candida albicans, resulting in persistent thrush in the infant. The infant and mother were successfully treated with clotrimazole in a gel form. This report emphasizes the importance of treating both the infected mother and infant to prevent reinfection and ensure successful breastfeeding. |
