Abstract: | Acute myocardial infarction secondary to aortic dissection may occur due to compression of the coronary arteries by a hematoma or extension of the dissection into the coronary arterial wall. We report a patient with this condition who was successfully treated by Palmaz-Schatz stenting, providing an alternative to thrombolysis or angioplasty. © 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc. |
