In an analysis of 2012 nonstress tests (NSTS) , 43(2.14%) exhibited fetal heart rate (FHR) deceleration after fetal activity. Of these patients -with FHR deceleration pattern, 29 occurred among high-risk gregnancies, while oligohydramnios, postdate pregnancy and intrauterine growth retardation accounted for the majority of women who were obtained.Irtrapartum fetal distress, low Apgar scores at one and five minutes and perinatal death, which was 12 (30.77) , 12(30%), 5(12.5%) and 3 cases (6.98%) respectively, were obviously higher in those with FHR decelerations than those with FHR accelerations. This difference was highly significant (P<0.001) .It is bclievsd that emphasizing aatepartum and intrapartum monitoring for the patients with FHR deceleration during a nonstress test has some significance on the decrease of perinatal morbidity and mortality |
