摘    要:The inhibitory effect of analogous electro-acu-puncture,i.e.deep peroneal nerve (DPN) stimulation,on hypothalamic defence area stimulation-inducedpressor reaction (HPR) and ventricular extrasystoles(HVE) was studied by the physiological,pharmaco-logical and biochemical techniques.Stimulation ofthe hypothalamic defence area could induce HPR,HVE and increase the release of noradrenaline(NA),serotonin and dopamine in the brain.TheDPN stimulation may strengthen the activtiy of cen-tral opioids,especially β-endorphtn and then inhi-bited NA energic neurons in some brain areas,thusattenuating or abolishing the sympathetic cardiovas-cular response.The acupuncture adjustment of thehypertension and arrhythmias related to the in-creased symapthetic activity perhaps acts throughthe same mechanisms in the patients.
