Effect of tacrolimus ointment on atopic dermatitis and skin barrier function

Objective To explore the effect of tacrolimus ointment on the clinical efficacy and immune function of atopic dermatitis.Methods One hundred and twenty patients with atopic dermatitis admitted to a hospital in Liaoning from December 2016 to March 2019 were selected.Random number method was used to divide them into control group and observation group,60 cases each.The control group was treated with levocetirizine hydrochloride oral solution,while the observation group was treated with 0.03%tacrolimus ointment on the basis of the control group.The changes of T lymphocyte subsets(CD4+,CD8+,NK)and NK CD4+/CD8+before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference in CD4+cell,CD8+cell NK cell levels,CD4+/CD8+,between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the levels of CD4+cell,CD4+/CD8+in the two groups increased significantly,and the levels of NK cells decreased(P<0.05);after treatment,the levels of CD4+cell,CD4+/CD8+in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the levels of NK cells were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.67%(58/60),which was significantly higher than that of the control group[(83.33%(50/60),P<0.05)].During the treatment,there was no significant adverse reaction between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Tacrolimus ointment can effectively improve the immune function of atopic dermatitis patients.It has significant clinical effect and is safe to use.It is worthy of application and promotion.
