自噬在抑郁症发生发展中作用的研究进展

 抑郁症是以显著而持久的心境低落为主要特征的精神性疾病。近年来研究显示抑郁症中存在自噬激活, 多种抗抑郁药物可以调节抑郁症患者的自噬水平。细胞自噬本质上是一种溶酶体依赖的蛋白质降解途径, 它对神经元存活和突触可塑性都具有重要作用。自噬参与多种神经系统疾病的发展进程, 如帕金森病、阿尔茨海默病和亨廷顿病等。目前自噬与抑郁症关系的研究较少, 本文就神经元自噬参与抑郁症的发病及相关药物治疗作一综述。

Research progress in the role of autophagy in the development of depression

Depression is a common neuropsychiatric disease, characterized by long lasting low mood. Recent studies have shown that autophagy activation exists in depression. Multiple antidepressant medicines regulate autophagy in patients with depression. Autophagy is essentially a lysosome dependent protein degradation pathway which plays an important role in neuronal survival and synaptic plasticity. Autophagy is involved in the development process of many kinds of nervous system diseases, such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer’s disease and Huntington’s disease. At present, the relationship between autophagy and depression is still poorly studied. Here, we briefly review that autophagy is involved in the pathogenesis and treatment of depression.
