徐汇区老年人口及其主要死因的变迁

目的了解徐汇区老年人口比例和主要死因的变迁。方法根据徐汇区公安分局１９５３～１９９７年的人口资料和应用国际疾病分类（ＩＣＤ－９）标准进行死因分析。结果老年人口占总人口的比例由１９５３年的３．６％上升至１９９７年的１９．０８％；老年人口死亡率由１９５３年的４６．９０‰，下降至１９９７年的３１．００‰；老年人的主要死因５０～６０年代脑血管疾病占首位，９０年代以心脏病为首位；传染病和消化系统疾病的死亡率明显下降，而损伤中毒和精神病死亡率则升高；食管、肠、肛门部位恶性肿瘤明显下降，而肺部肿瘤升高。结论应积极开展老年保健和慢性病防治工作，在延长寿命的同时提高生命质量。

The change of the population of old people and their main causes of death in Xuhui district

Objective To understand the change of proportion of the old people in the population and their main causes of death in Xuhui district. Methods In accordance with the demography of public security bureau of Xuhui district from 1953 to 1997 and by referring to the ICD-9 standard,the causes of death had been investigated. ResultsThe proportion of the old people in the population had increased from 3.63%in 1953 to 19.08% in 1997,while the mortality rate of the old people had decreased from 46.90 in 1953 to 31.00 in 1997. The chief causes of death of the old people in 1950s and 60s were cerebralvascular diseases while that in 1990s were cardiac diseases. The mortality rate of infectious diseases and diseases of digestive system had dropped markedly,but the death rate due to injuries,poison and mental diseases increased. Esophageal colo - ]rectal cancers decreased significantly,while pulmonary tumor was rising. Conclusion To promote actively the health care and chronic disease prevention for the old people can not only prolong their life,but also improve the quality of their living.
