Characteristics and advantages of Chinese medicine in the treatment of malignant tumors

Malignant tumors have become a major common disease that seriously endangers human health. But it is also a chronic disease that can be controlled, treated, or even cured by the World Health Organization. At present, there are two medical models for the treatment of malignant tumors in China, which are western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine(including the combination of Chinese and western medicine).Relatively speaking, western medicine has outstanding advantages in eradicating or reducing tumor lesions;and traditional Chinese medicine can help western medicine to play a synergistic and attenuating effect, and the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in improving the clinical symptoms, raising the quality of life, and stabilizing tumor lesions in patients with advanced tumors are more obvious. In order to let the readers understand the concept better, methods, characteristics, advantages, medication characteristics of TCM better in the treatment of malignant tumors, as well as the problems concerned by both doctors and patients, this paper has invited well-known experts in TCM oncology to hold a special forum on "the characteristics and advantages of TCM in the treatment of malignant tumors".
