Baseline DNA damage in spermatozoa from fertile and infertilemen was compared using a modified alkali single cell gel electrophoresis(comet) assay. Semen from normozoospermic fertile, normozoospermicinfertile and asthenozoospermic infertile (World Health Organizationcriteria, 1992) samples were studied.
