| Abstract: | Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma is a variant of squamous cell carcinoma that was first described in 1986. In the English-language literature, only 26 cases of this infrequent histopathological entity have been reported in the larynx. Tumors have an aggressive biological behavior, justifying combined surgical treatment with radiotherapy. Two new cases are presented and the literature reviewed. |
