Abstract: | Amygdalin is one of the active ingredients in Armeniacae Amarum Semen, which is widely available in seeds of the plants in Rosaceae. The pharmacological effects of amygdalin were summarized from anti-atherosclerosis, antirenal interstitial fibrosis, antipulmonary fibrosis, antihyperoxia-induced lung injury, immune inhibition, immune regulation, antitumor, anti-inflammation and antiulcer aspects, which could provide a reference for the further study of amygdalin. |
