Ovarian stimulation under the condition of high progesterone levels for the patients with poor ovarian response:a review

It is difficult for the patients with poor ovarian response(POR)to achieve satisfactory pregnancy outcomes due to the decreased number of oocyte retrieved.The treatment of POR patients is still one of the challenges in the assisted reproductive field.More and more studies on the protocols of ovarian stimulation under the condition of high progesterone levels have been reported,and these studies have shown that there are mainly three types of ovarian stimulation protocols under the condition of high progesterone levels:luteal-phase ovarian-stimulation(LPS),progestin-primed ovarian stimulation(PPOS),and double stimulation(DuoStim).In this article,we will review the domestic and foreign studies on the ovarian stimulation protocols under the condition of high progesterone levels in the POR patients.
