聚合酶链反应诊断结核性脑膜炎

为比较脑脊液聚合酶链反应（PCR）与抗结核抗体酶联免疫吸附试验（ELISA）对结核性脑膜炎的诊断价值，应用PCR与ELISA检测32例结核性脑膜炎和30例非结核性脑膜炎患者。结果显示PCR与ELISA单独应用时其敏感性与特异性无明显差异（P＞0．05），两者作平行联合试验，其敏感性高达96．88％，但特异性和准确性较单独应用无显著性差异。提示：PCR与ELISA的平行试验具有互补作用，可提高诊断率。

Polymeras Chain Reaction on The Diagnosis of Tuberculous Meningitis

To ascertain the value of polymeras chain reaction (PCR) and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) on the diagnsis of tuberculous meningitis (TM), PCR and ELISA have been tested in 32 patients of TM and 30 cases without TM for control.The results showed that the sensitivity and specificity had no significant differences (P >0. 05) when PCR and ELISA was used separately. Parallel combining test of PCR and ELISA lift the sensitivity level up to 96. 88%. It is significantly higher than that by either means of PCR or of ELISA (P< 0. 05). However, specificity and accuracy of both teats have no significant differences whether it is used singly or in combination. It indicates that PCR combined with ELISA could increase diagnocis sensitivity.
