Abstract: | Objective To investigate the correlation between the degree of pelvic floor organ prolapse assessed by the POP-Q score and the area of the levator hiatus by ultrasound.Methods A total number of 999 female patients diagnosed in Changchun Obstetrics-Gynecology Hospital from April 2018 to November 2019 were involved in this study.The data of POP-Q score in patients were collected and graded,and perineal real-time three-dimensional ultrasonography was performed to measure the area of levator hiatus.Analyzing the correlation between the area of levator hiatus and POP-Q score in patients with pelvic organ prolapse.Results The degree of pelvic organ prolapse was significantly correlated with the area of the levator hiatus(P<0.001),and the area of the hiatus increased along with the degree.The best cut-off value of degreeⅠis 25.05,that of degreeⅡis 30.65,and that of degreeⅢis 34.05.According to this index,the corresponding relationship between POP-Q index and the hole area of levator was as follows:degree 0<25.05 cm,194 patients in total;degreeⅠ≥25.05 cm,a total number of 324 patients;degreeⅡ≥30.65,a total number of 278 patients;there were 203 patients with degreeⅢ≥34.05 cm.Conclusion The area of levator hiatus used to evaluate the degree of POP-Q pelvic organ prolapse has good predictive ability,which can assist doctors in the diagnosis process and the selection of follow-up treatment. |
