摘    要:
采用SD大鼠实验,结果未显示魔芋精粉对结肠癌发生率的干预作用,与组织病理检查结果一致。

Abstract:
In concomitance with the induction of colon cancer by dimethylhydrazine two groups of SD rat were fed on basal diets containing 5% or 10% RKM respectively for one year, and another group of rat fed on basal diet without RKM was used as positive control. Besides, one group of rat without cancer induction and fed on basal diet was used as negative control.Parameters observed including intestinal microflora, fecal neutral steriods and short chain fatty acids. Results obtained are as follows:1.The differences in total colony number of Escherichia coli, and the number of aerobic or anaero bic microflora between groups are of nonsignificance.2. Fecal excretions of cholesterol and coprostane are higher in the RKM group and the positive con trol group than in the negative control group.3. Amang fecal short chain fatty acids only the propionic acid is found to be higer in the RKM group than in the two control groups.It is concluded that there are no correlation in the above parameters between groups.These findings are consistent with the histopathological cxamination presented in anothere article.
