Analysis on Influencing Factors of Iron-Deficiency Anemia and the Anemia Degree in Pregnant Women during First Pregnancy

Objective To explore the influencing factors of iron-deficiency anemia and the anemia degree in pregnant women during first pregnancy.Methods The clinical data of 980 first-pregnant women admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed,and divided into control group(without iron-deficiency anemia,800 cases)and observation group(iron-deficiency anemia,180 cases)according to whether there was iron-deficiency anemia.The observation group was divided into mild group(hemoglobin 100-109 g/L,100 cases),moderate group(hemoglobin 70-99 g/L,60 cases)and severe group(hemoglobin 40-69 g/L,20 cases).The clinical characteristics of the four groups,and the influencing factors of iron-deficiency anemia and the anemia degree in pregnant women during first pregnancy were analyzed.Results No statistical difference was found in the pregnancy times,education degree and per capita family monthly income between the two groups(P>0.05).The proportion of age≥35,poor dietary iron intake and pre-pregnancy health care<3 times in the mild group,moderate group and severe group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Logistic multivariate analysis showed that age≥35,poor dietary iron intake and pre-pregnancy health care<3 times were the risk factors for iron-deficiency anemia during pregnancy(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusions Old age,poor dietary iron intake,and less pre-pregnancy health care are the risk factors for iron-deficiency anemia during pregnancy.
