Analysis on Ultrasonic Elastography in Differential Diagnosis of BI-RADS 3 and 4 Types of Breast Masses

Objective To explore the differential diagnosis value of ultrasonic elastography on breast imaging reporting and data system(BI-RADS)3 and 4 types of breast masses.Methods 83 patients with BI-RADS 3 and 4 types of breast masses admitted to our hospital from April 2018 to April 2020 were given routine ultrasound and ultrasonic elastography.Taking biopsy results as gold standard,the value of two methods in the differential diagnosis of BI-RADS 3 and 4 types of breast masses was analyzed.Results Biopsy results showed that among 83 patients with BI-RADS 3 and 4 types of breast masses,22 cases(26.51%)were malignant,and 61 cases(73.49%)were benign.The accuracy,specificity and malignant predictive value of ultrasonic elastography were higher than those of routine ultrasound(P<0.05).No statistical difference was found in the sensitivity and benign predictive value between ultrasonic elastography and routine ultrasound(P>0.05).The results of routine ultrasound had ideal consistency with biopsy(κ=0.519),and the results of ultrasound elastography had excellent consistency with biopsy(κ=0.774).Conclusions Ultrasonic elastography has higher accuracy and specificity in the differential diagnosis of BI-RADS 3 and 4 types of breast masses,and has excellent consistency with biopsy results,which can provide reliable basis for early clinical judgement of benign or malignant BI-RADS 3 and 4 types of breast masses,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
