骨质疏松症是全身骨代谢障碍的退行性疾病，随着社会老龄人口的不断增加，发病率越来越高。本文复习骨质疏松症现代医学研究成果及中医诸家对骨质疏松病因、病机及辨证规律文献，阐述骨质疏松症的中医分型及诊治。

Discussion on the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis with the syndrome differentiation type of TCM

Osteoporosis is a degenerative disease of the systemic bone metabolism disorders, and with the increase of social aging population, the incidence of osteoporosis is getting higher and higher. This article reviews the results of modern medical research on osteoporosis, and its etiology, pathogenesis and syndrome differentiation rules of some Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in literatures, and summarizes the syndrome differentiation type of TCM in osteoporosis and the management.
