Abstract:Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is characterized by chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH),the oxidative stress induced by CIH can lead to multisystem and multi-organ injury.Pancreatic β cells are vulnerable to oxidative stress,for diabetes to develop,β-cell functional impairment induced by oxidative stress is needed.Intervention with antioxidant maybe a potential therapy for pancreatic injury in patients with OSAHS.
