| Abstract: | Background In pregnancy,disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC)may be induced by several complications such as pre-eclampsia,as well as amniotic fluid embolism,etc.Objective We discuss the role of placenta for pregnancy-associated DIC.Content This paper will introduce the new advance in our understanding of haemostatic mechanisms relating to the placenta.Trend How to use these new diagnostic approaches and therapeutic modalities in clinic. |
