帕金森病是一种常见于中老年人的慢性中枢神经系统变性疾病,主要病理改变为黑质多巴胺能神经元变性死亡,多巴胺的合成减少,乙酰胆碱的兴奋作用相对增强,而2型糖尿病为胰岛β细胞分泌胰岛素不足或靶细胞对胰岛素不敏感所致的代谢性疾病,通常认为两者为独立的疾病,但最近的一些研究表明两者具有密切的联系.此综述旨在概述帕金森病与糖尿病的相关机制研究现状,同时总结了帕金森病药物治疗新的进展.

Current research and treatment progress of relationship between diabetes mellitus type 2 and Parkinson's disease

Parkinson's disease is a common chronic neurodegenerative disease of central nervous system in mid-dle-aged and elderly people. The main pathological changes are degeneration and death of dopaminergic neurons in sub-stantia nigra, decrease synthesis of dopamine, and relatively enhance the excitatory effects of acetylcholine. The type 2 diabetes is a metabolic disease due to the lack of insulin secretion in islet beta cells or the insensitivity of target cells to insulin. It is commonly thought that they are independent diseases, but recent studies have shown that they are closely re-lated. The purpose of this review is to outline the current research of the mechanism of Parkinson's disease and diabetes, and summarize the new progress in the drug treatment for Parkinson's disease.
