| Abstract: | This article provides a brief summary of recent US epidemiology, antimicrobial resistance, and treatment of Neisseria gonorrhoeae infections. Selected research regarding infections caused by N. gonorrhoeae is described, with particular emphasis on the advances made by new molecular methods. |
