| Abstract: | Heme oxygenase-1(HO-1) is an inducible stress protein.In addition to its physiological role in heme degradation,HO-1 plays important roles in protecting against inflammation,apoptosis,proliferation,and oxidative stress-mediated injury.The research on HO-1 and its by-products is of great significance on new clinical therapies for lung diseases. |
