| Abstract: | ??Intra-hospital transport??IHT?? is an inevitable and important part of intensive care unit??ICU?? treatment. IHT is frequently required in order to perform diagnostic or therapeutic procedures for critically ill children. The incidence of adverse events??AEs??during IHT of critically ill children is very high. The decision to transport a critically ill child is based on an assessment of the potential benefits and risks. Specialized training?? perfect clinical evaluation??appropriate equipment??use of checklist and monitoring during transport may decrease adverse events and increase safety in IHT. |
