化瘀汤清除自由基的临床及实验研究

摘    要:应用化瘀汤治疗小儿肺炎49例,于肺炎极期,恢复期分别测定红细胞超氧化物歧化酶活性,并与同龄健康儿对比,肺炎极期小儿超氧化物歧化酶活性降低,且与恢复期及健康儿有显著差异。通过化瘀汤对臭氧诱导自由基反应模型小鼠实验及体外抗氧化实验,显示活血化瘀中药有清除自由基的作用。

Clinical and Experimental Studies of Effects of Huayu Decoction on Scavenging Free Radicals

Abstract:Infantile pneumonia has been treated successfully with Huayu decoction (HYD) in our depart-ment for more than ten years. According to tile principles of Huoxue Huayu of TCM, the composi-tion of Huayu decoction is as follows: Angelica sinensis, Paeonia lactiflora Ligusticum wallichii,Spathollobus suberectus, Hirudo nipponoca, Tabanus bivittatus, Paeonia suffroticosa, Astragalus mem.branaceus. 49 cases of infantile pneumonia were treated with HYD. The activity of erythrocytesuperoxide dismutases (ESOD) was measured in these patients. The results showed that the activityof ESOD reduced in the acute stage and returned to normal in convalescence. There was significantstatistical difference in activity of ESOD between the patient's group. In experimental studies, theproducing of free radicals was induced by inhaling ozone in mice. It was found that HYD had theeffect of scavenging free radicals in these animal models. The action of anti-oxidate of HYD wasalso detected in vitro. The mechanism of HYD in treating infantile pneumonia might be elucidatedin some respects by these clinical and experimental studies.
