| Abstract: | Thirty adult cadavers (male 16, female 14) were used for making a seral cros-s-sections. Six cross-sections (two sections parallel to the hilus of the kidney,two above, and two below) wefe selected and studied. We studied the patterns, relation ships, size, and the corresponding levels of the vertebral column of the kidney and also the structures concerning the kidney. The aim of this article attempts to provide the anatomical basis and normal numerical data for CT and two-dimensional ultrasonic examinations |
