玻璃纤维桩在牙体缺损修复中的临床应用

目的：研究玻璃纤维桩的修复效果.方法：临床选择95例牙体缺损患者、共198颗患牙,年龄20-61岁,均为上下前牙残根、残冠,已经过完善的根管治疗,采用玻璃纤维桩制作桩核,金瓷冠修复.15-39个月后对修复效果进行临床评价.结果：经15-39个月的临床随访观察,修复体的固位、边缘密合度、牙周状况均较满意.结论：使用玻璃纤维桩可以达到满意的修复效果,不易造成根折,但仍需对其进行长期的临床观察.

Clinical application of glass fiber post in the restoration of endodontically treated teeth

Objective: To evaluate the clinical use of glass fiber post in the restoration of endodontically treated teeth. Methods: Ninety-five patients with 198 endodontically treated incisors were selected and restored with glass fiber post and porcelain-fused-to-metal crown, which age ranged from 20 to 61.The restorations were evaluated clinically according to the modified United State Public Health Service criteria(USPHS) after 15-39 months intervals. Results: During 15-39 months clinical observation, good results were found in aspects of the retention, marginal adaption and recurrent caries. Conclusion: Glass fiber posts could achieve good clinical performance without root fractures. However, more long-term studies with larger numbers of restorations are needed.
