| Abstract: | The paper made a literature summarization that TCM treated the colitis gravis, from etiological factors and pathogenesis, therapeutic methods, modified basic formulas, patent Chinese herbs and therapeutic principles. The paper also expounded the existed problems and developmental prospect. |
