876例蒙汉族老年人口腔病况分析

目的：调查和比较蒙汉族老年人口腔病况及治疗意识，为老年人口腔疾病防治提供参考。方法：对呼和浩特市五个干休所876名离休人员，按照WHO的统一标准进行口腔病况及治疗意识的调查。结果：牙齿缺失在老年口腔病中占第一位，患病率为82．19％，其次为口腔黏膜病70、44％，牙周病48．86％，龋病38．81％。义齿修复率为失牙人数的29％。蒙古族口腔黏膜病发病高于汉族（P〈0.01），牙周病发病率低于汉族（P〈0．01）。结论：（1）．对老年人健康影响最大的口腔疚患是失牙，应得到重视。（2）．口腔黏膜病及牙周病在蒙汉族之间有显著性差畀，（3）．老年人口腔疾病治疗意识淡漠。

ANALYSIS OF THE STATE OF ORAL HEALTH AMONG 876 MONGOL AND HAN ELDER PEOPLE

Objective:To investigate and compare the incidence of common oral diseases and their consciousness of treatments among Mongol and Han elder people,and to provide future reference for the prevention and treatment of oral diseases in elder people.Methods:Applying WHO's standards to gather statistics on the incidence and treatment of oral diseases among 876 seniors from five government supported cadre sanatorium in the city of Hohhot,China.Results:The results show that missing tooth is the first oral disease among the elder people,with 82.19% of incidence.Oral mucosal disease ranks the 2nd at a rate of 70.44%.In addition,48.86% and 38.81% of the elder people having periodontal disease and dental caries respectively.About 29% of those having missing tooth have denture restoration.Mongols are more likely to have oral mucosal disease than Hans(P<0.01).But the incidence of periodontal diseases appears less among Mongols than Hans(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1) Among various oral diseases,missing tooth is the most serious health concern to the elder people.(2) There are notable differences in the occurrence of oral mucosal disease and periodontal disease between the Mongols and the Hans.(3) The elder people are largely unaware of the proper treatments for oral diseases.
