女性面部对称性与人格及心理健康的关系研究

目的探讨女性面部对称性与人格、心理健康之间的关系。方法标准化拍摄110张女性相片并同时让被试完成症状自评量表（SCL-90）以及大五人格问卷（BFI）。从110张相片中选出30张,分为三组,每组10名,三组面部对称水平均相差一个标准差,然后,自编计算机程序让30张相片在电脑上随机呈现,请85名评价者对这30名相片中被试的人格进行评价。结果女性面部对称性与自评人格在神经质、宜人性及责任性三个维度有相关,与外部评价者评价人格的神经质维度有显著相关;女性面部对称性与SCL-90中六个维度都有显著相关。结论女性面部对称性与人格及心理健康之间都有显著相关。

A study on the relationshipship among female facial symmetry, personality and mental health

Objective To study the relationship among female facial symmetry, personality and mental health. Methods Take 110 standard female digital photographs and let them complete the Symptom Checklist 90（SCL-90） and Big Five Inventory （BFI）. Choose 30 photographs from 110 photographs and divide into 3 groups, 10 photographs per group. There is one standard deviation of facial symmetry between 3 groups. Then, computer programs are designed to invite 85 participants to appraise the personality of 30 photographs. Results Female facial symmetry has significant correlation with self-assessment personality in consciousness （C）, agreeableness （A） ,neuroticism （N）, and has significant correlation with the evaluators＇ assessments of personality in neuroticism （N）. Female facial symmetry has significant correlation with the six dimensions of SCL- 90. Conclusion Female facial symmetry has significant correlation with personality and mental health.
