肝细胞癌中eIF3h的表达及其临床意义

目的 探讨肝细胞癌(hepatocellular carcinoma,HCC)组织中真核起始因子3h(eukaryotic initiation factor 3h,eIF3h)的表达及其与临床病理特征的关系和对HCC预后的意义.方法 应用免疫组织化学法检测90例HCC及55例癌旁肝组织中eIF3h的表达.结果 eIF3h在HCC组织中的表达水平高于癌旁组织,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.01).eIF3h高表达与低表达组在肿瘤分化程度、包膜侵犯及脉管浸润方面比较差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05).eIF3h高表达HCC患者5年生存期短于低表达患者(P<0.01).结论 eIF3h可能参与HCC的发生及发展,可以作为HCC预后的标志物.

Expression of eIF3h in hepatocellular carcinoma and its clinicopathological significance

Objective To investigate the expression of eukaryotic initiation factor 3h (eIF3h)in hepatocellular car-cinoma (HCC)tissues,and to examine its relationship with the clinical characteristics and disease prognosis.Methods The expression of eIF3h was analyzed in 90 samples of HCC tissues and 55 samples of adjacent non-tumor tissues by immu-nohistochemistry.Results The expression of eIF3h in HCC tissues was higher than that in adjacent non-tumor tissues (P <0.01).There were significant differences in tumor differentiation,extracapsular tumor extension and vessel invasion be-tween patients with high eIF3h expression and those with low eIF3h expression (all P <0.05).Moreover,patients with high eIF3h levels showed lower 5-year disease-free survival compared to patients with low eIF3h levels (P <0.01).Conclusion eIF3h may be involved in the development and differentiation of HCC,and can be used as a biomarker for HCC prognosis.
