| Abstract: | We have presented a new technique for the stabilization of patellar fractures that has provided superior results in 64 cases by biomechanics and clinical study.Provisional stabilization of the fracture can usually be obtained with Kirschner wires and definitive fixation can be achieved with wires.The modified tension band technique has provided the best stability.The operative method,indications and advantages are recommended. |
