提壶揭盖法是治疗癃闭常用之法 ,取其欲降先升之意。纵观古今之医籍 ,多无系统论述 ,对其在癃闭中的具体运用 ,笔者概括为 :清降肺热法、解表宣肺法、升清降浊法、探吐法、取嚏法、针灸推拿法等。此外 ,临床实践证明 ,对于癃闭的治疗 ,不论何种证型 ,均可酌加开宣肺气之品。

The method of relieving lung for diuresis is often applied to treat uroschesis,which there is no systematic study on its application in ancient and modern medical literatures.Concerning the concrete use of treating uroschesis,the writer summarizes those methods as follows:clearing away lung- heat,relieving the exterior syndrome and dispersing lung- qi,ascending the clear and descending the turbid,inducing vom- iting,treating sneeze,acupuncture,moxibustion and massage,and so on.In addition,in treating uroschesis, whatever the pattern of syndrome,you can add to the traditional Chinese drugs of promoting the dispersing function of the lung and you can make a better effect than the usual methods in practice.
