Progress of Experimental Model on Perimenopausal Syndrome

Perimenopausal syndrome describes a group of physical and emotional symptoms which women experience before and after menopause due to large fluctuations in hormone levels. Being a major cause of many senile degenerative diseases, perim- enopansal syndrome has brought a heavy burden to families and society. The study on the pathogenesis and treatment of perimeno- pausal syndrome has become a hotspot of contemporary medical research ; therefore it is of a great significance to establish an ani- mal model for the study of the mechanism of action of drugs.
