Abstract: | There has been only one previous report of dislocation of a posteriorly stabilized total knee arthroplasty. The authors present two further cases of subluxation of this prosthesis and report a method of accomplishing reduction that could not otherwise be achieved by conventional techniques. The current design of this prosthesis enabled revision of the polyethylene tibial component to be undertaken without removal of the cemented metal-backing tray, an advantage not previously appreciated. |
