From Four-element Doctrine to Five-element Doctrine to See the Differences between These Two Theoretical Patterns of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine

The developments of the TCM and Western Medicine were all affected deeply by the ancient simple materialistic philosophy during their foundational periods.The former regarded the Four body Fluid Pathological Doctrine that develoed from the Four element Doctrine as its theoretical tool,the latter regarded the Five element Doctrine as its philosohical base. Because of the differences between these two philosohies themselves and the different ways that were employed by these two philosophies,there came to being two different completely medical theoretical patterns.in their later development roads.Western Medicine attaches importance to part,anatomy and experiment,develops rapidly in the microcosmic medical field and occupies the most front place.The TCM takes the whole and relations of things one another serious and formed a unique theoretical system.Each of these two theoretical patterns has its forte,they should learn from each other,get the forte from the other to makes up its own shortcoming to make progesses and get pefecter at the same time.
