The spinal myelography, CT myelography (CTM) and MRI of 32 verified cases of intraspinal tumor were compared. Spinal myelography was not as good as CTM or MRI for determination of the location and nature of tumor, but it was helpful in determining the scan range of CTM and MRI. The correctness of localization of tumor was similar between CTM and MRI. In determining the nature of tumor, MRI was superior to CTM. Therefore, MRI is the first choice for diagnosing intraspinal tumor. |
