珠海市医疗卫生机构工作人员控烟知识、态度、行为现状调查

目的了解珠海市医疗卫生机构工作人员吸烟现状及主要影响因素,为卫生系统全面控烟提供决策依据。方法采用分层整群抽样方法,在珠海市各级医疗卫生机构中随机抽取13个监测点,对1 900名在职工作人员进行问卷调查。结果男女合计现总吸烟率9.86%,其中男性现吸烟率28.48%,女性现吸烟率0.55%,男性现吸烟率明显高于女性(χ2=264.97,P<0.01)。不同年龄、学历、工作岗位的工作人员吸烟率差异具有统计学意义(χ2=23.80,P<0.001;χ2=13.61,P=0.001;χ2=52.67,P<0.001)。烟草危害知识知晓率为64.34%,仅有6.55%的医疗卫生机构工作人员知道烟中的尼古丁不是引起大多数癌症的化学物质,10.07%的医生从未给病人戒烟建议。结论珠海市医疗卫生机构工作人员现吸烟率虽不高,但医务人员控烟干预服务能力不足,相关知识知晓率偏低。

KAP Status of Smoking Control among the Staff in Health Institutions of Zhuhai city

Objectives To understand the situation of smoking and the major influencing factors among the staff of health institutions,and to help formulate anti-smoking strategy in Zhuhai. Methods By stratified cluster random sampling,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 1900 staff in 13 medical and health institutions at all levels in Zhuhai. Results The survey showed that the people who smoke currently accounts for 9.86%,among them,the male smokers accounted for 28.48%,significantly higher than that of female(0.55%)(χ2=264.97,P<0.01).Prevalence of smoking varied due to different age,educational level,and work unit(χ2=23.80,P<0.001;χ2=13.61,P=0.001;χ2=52.67,P<0.001).The awareness rate of tobacco hazards accounted for 64.34%,however,only 6.55% of the staff knew that nicotine wasn’t the chemical substance causing most of the cancers,and 10.07% of the doctors never gave any suggestions to patients to quit smoking. Conclusions Smoking rate of the staff in Zhuhai health institutions was lower,but medical staff were lack of the ability of smoking control interventions,and awareness rate of the relevant knowledge was low.
