Investigations of Pure Chelating Flavonoids Flavonoids were adsorbed onto acid-soluble oxides or salts of 2-valent cations. After dissolution of the cation flavonoid complexes in dilute acids, the flavonoids could be extracted with organic solvents. The influence of the basicity of the sorption materials and of the concentration of the dilute acids on the stability of the flavonoids was investigated.
