多囊卵巢综合征发病原因及机制尚未阐明,临床治疗效果欠佳。认为应根据不同年龄阶段患者的主要临床表现及治疗需求的差异,治疗当按年龄"因人制宜"。青春期以调整生活方式、控制体重、中药补肾调周、控制月经周期为基本治疗方法;育龄期宜中西医结合、促排卵、调经助孕为原则;已生育患者应以调整内分泌和糖脂代谢的异常、降低子宫内膜病变及心血管疾病发生的几率为主要目的。
