Abstract: | Antigen-coated polystyrene spheres are used for a solid-phase RIA for IgM and IgG antibodies against tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBE). The use of highly purified anti-mu and anti-gamma antibodies permitted the construction of standard curves from which quantitative values for TBE-specific IgG and IgM could be obtained. An antibody-blocking test identifies non-specific results. |
