| Abstract: | Many diseases in ocular region can be involved in the optic nerve injury,resulting in optic nerve atrophia and serious vision loss.Oculopathy is common and refractory in ophthalmology.The acupuncture is important therapy of traditional Chinese medicine.The clinical practice has indicated that acupuncture therapy for optic neuropathy is effective and positive.Study of mechanism of action has been done which showed that acupuncture promotes repair following optic nerve injury. |
