Research Progress of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine on Post-stroke Depression

Post-stroke depression is one of the common complications of cerebral ischemic stroke.TCM believes that the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease are emotional injury,the loss of drainage in liver,the loss of health in spleen,mental disorder,the loss of rising and falling in lung,zang-fu yin yang qi blood imbalanced,leading to five viscera discarded.Western medicine believes that its pathogenesis is mainly divided into primary endogenous mechanism and reactive mechanism.The control group was treated with western medicine and the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine.In this paper,the progress of clinical treatment of post-stroke depression in China in recent years was reviewed from the aspects of etiology and pathogenesis of TCM,pathogenesis of western medicine,treatment of TCM and western medicine,harm,prevention and prospect of TCM and western medicine in treating post-stroke depression.
