Abstract: | Central quadriceps free tendon provides an outstanding autograft alternative for routine anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, allowing preservation of hamstring tendons and eliminating the morbidity of bone plug harvest from the patella. Correct graft harvest technique, proper tunnel/graft sizing, accurate fixation, and adherence to the methods described will permit excellent ACL reconstruction with low morbidity. |
