| Abstract: | In this article the diagnostic indications for hepatic transplantation are addressed in detail. The outcome of liver transplantation is also examined, including the impact of the following factors on survival: age and weight at transplantation, type of liver disease, and size of liver allograft, including living related transplantation. Morbidity and quality of life after transplantation are other aspects reviewed in this chapter. |
