Parathyroid adenomas discovered incidentally during explorations of the thyroid

• 1.1. Five cases of parathyroid adenoma and one of primary clear cell hyperplasia discovered incidentally during thyroid operations are presented.
• 2.2. It is suggested that in at least some of the patients minimal symptoms were present which may have led to investigation and early diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism.
