A case of maxillary ameloblastoma is presented. A non-healing, asymptomatic ulcerative lesion in the maxillary tuberosity region did not respond following relief of physical irritation. The clinical appearance of the lesion was compatible with that of a malignant tumour, but the histopathology was consistent with a diagnosis of ameloblastoma of the maxilla. |
