| Abstract: | With a greater safety and a higher efficacy,Da Vinci Surgical System has overcome the limitations of traditional thoracoscopy so that many delicate and complex procedures becomes more and more mini-invasive.In recent years,surgeons have accumulated so rich operating experiences of Da Vinci Surgical System in adults that its applications are extended to children.However,its application is relatively delayed in pediatric thoracic surgery.This review summarized the current status of using Da Vinci Surgical System in both adult and pediatric thoracic procedures.Its clinical indications for pediatric thoracic surgery should be carefully selected. |
